Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced acquiring Twitter but it got delayed. Elon Musk also announced that he is not ready for the deal after which Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal responded on a strong note. He sacked two top executives including the Chief Executive Officer Parag Agarwal and Vijaya Gadde very soon. Vijaya Gadde is the Safety Lead for Twitter's Legal Public Policy and Trust. The American media released the news. The CNBC and the Washington Post reported that Parag Agarwal was removed from his position. He took the oath as the CEO for Twitter in November 2021 from Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter.
Elon Musk is keen to remove some more key players of Twitter from their position. Reports told that the Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal and Sean Edgett will soon be out from the list. Segal is with Twitter since 2017 and Edgett is the general counsel for Twitter from 2012. Elon Musk has been claiming that Twitter kept hiding the bot accounts from a long time. This triggered criticism and controversies. Elon Musk changed his bio on Twitter to the Chief Twit and he visited the headquarters located in San Francisco. He also met the employees at the office and shared a letter expressing the real reasons for acquring Twitter and about his future plans with the social media platform.
