The war between Russia and Ukraine is not calming down and several countries attempted to bring peace between the nations. Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed that the nation doesn't feel Sweden and Finland as threats. Finland and Sweden decided to join North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) recently. "The expansion of NATO to Finland and Sweden is not a direct threat for us. However, the expansion of the military infrastructure will provoke our response" told Putin during a televised summit meeting of The Collective Security Treaty Organization. The Military Alliance of Moscow includes six nations: Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
"This is an artificial problem as it is done in the interests of the foreign policy of the United States. NATO has become a foreign policy instrument of one country. This is disrupting the international security environment. The problems are created without any reason. We will act accordingly" told Putin. Magdalena Andersson, the Prime Minister of Sweden announced joining NATO as a deterrent against the aggressive nature of Russia. Finland made a similar announcement on Sunday. Sweden's ruling Social Democratic Party approved the bid of NATO on Sunday. Russia's deputy foreign minister Sergei Ryabkov told that Sweden and Finland are making another mistake.
Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin and the country's President Sauli Niinisto announced that they would submit their applications for NATO very soon. Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan told that they would not say yes to the NATO bid of Sweden and Finland.
