Ten people have been shot at the Brooklyn subway station in New York during the morning hours of Tuesday. 29 people have been injured and all of them are treated in nearby hospitals. The doctors clarified that all the injured are out of danger. The suspect is said to have kept a gas mask and deployed a gas canister. He then started shooting and he fled from the spot. The hunt for the shooter is on and his motive is not known. The NYPD told that they are seeking a person of interest who participated in the shooting. He rented a U-Haul van and the keys are found at the spot. The incident created a sensation across United States of America.
The New York agencies offered 50,000 USD as reward if any information related to the shooter is provided. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) issued an official statement about the same. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and Transport Workers Union (TWU) offered 12,500 USD each while the New York City Police Foundation announced a reward of 25,000 USD. The U-Haul van that was spotted at the spot was rented by Frank James and he is the person of interest as per the primary investigation. The van was rented on April 11th from Philadelphia and it was rented using a Wisconsin license with a Milwaukee address. For now, it is unclear if Frank James is related to the shooting incident.
