Russia attempted war and Ukraine is defending well though lots of the military personnel lost their lives. At the eastern border of Ukraine, the situation is tense. The UN Security Council demanded an immediate withdrawal of the troops. 11 of the 15 members from the council voted for the motion which was introduced by USA, UAE and Albania. US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas Greenfield told "Russia, you can veto the resolution but cannot veto our voices and the truth. You also cannot veto the people of Ukraine". Former President and top security official Dmitry Medvedev of Russia said that the country doesn't need any diplomatic ties with the West.

He said that Russia will continue its operation in Ukraine until the goals are achieved that are announced by the Russian President Vladimir Putin. More than 50,000 people fled from Ukraine in less than two days as per the reports. Czech Republic donated machine guns, sniper rifles and pistols that are worth 7.6 million euros to Ukraine. Prague early this year donated 4000 artillery shells which are worth 1.5 million euros to Ukraine. Ukraine's Health Minister Viktor Lyashko confirmed that 198 civilians including three children got killed after Russia started the attack. 1115 got wounded and it also includes 33 children. Poland refused to play 2022 World Cup play-off with Russia confirmed the Polish Federation.
