CBI sources on Monday said that the homicide angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case is not ruled out and the final report on the case will be clear and detailed.
A team of forensic doctors of AIIMS is set to meet on September 17 who will discuss the post mortem report of the late actor and will give a detailed report on the cause of his death.
Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sources on Monday confirmed to Times Now that the agency would submit a report on Sushant’s death case before the AIIMS would hold a meeting among its doctors.
The sources said the report from the CBI will be conclusive and clear and will not drive any further confusion in the matter.
The report which is expected to be submitted before September 17 will likely throw light on the homicide angle in the mysterious death case of Sushant Singh Rajput.
The medical board of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was assigned with the task to examine the medical reports prepared by the Cooper Hospital, Mumbai. A team of doctors is slated to meet on this regard on September 17.
Reportedly, the post mortem report and the viscera report of the late actor were not clear and did not include the necessary details. Now that the physical presence of the actor’s body is unavailable, it became a herculean task for the doctors to examine the reports.
Sushant Singh Rajput was allegedly found hanging in his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020. After much hue and cry from the public, the case which was initially dealt with by the Mumbai Police was transferred to the CBI after the orders from the Supreme Court.
There are allegedly certain lapses in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged suicide which completely debunks the suicide angle.
The family members of the late actor refute the suicide theory and have filed an FIR against Sushant’s girlfriend and the primary accused in the case, Rhea Chakraborthy.
Earlier the family members registered an FIR stating the reason as abetment to suicide but after certain proofs becoming viral, the family suspects a murder angle.
The CBI has grilled many kith and kin of the late actor including his gym trainer, sisters, friends, and staff members.
Rhea Chakraborty has recently been arrested by the NCB for her involvement in procuring drugs and selling them which is an offense. The Enforcement Directorate has seized the phones and laptop of Rhea in which this drug angle has come out.
In the ongoing investigation by NCB, Rhea Chakraborty has named Bollywood celebrities in the drug matter including Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, and Simone Khambatta. However, no summons has been made by the NCB to these actors yet.
Rhea Chakraborty and brother Showik Chakraborty will remain in the NCB custody till September 22.
