The disgusting incident happened in Maharashtra wherein a farmers' organisation was known to have welcomed the state government's decision intending towards derecognise 600 schools that were showcasing their fraudulent students in their record having an intention towards collecting grants.
This biggest ever action in the history of Maharashtra was made possible by the Vidarbha Jan Andolan Samiti [VJAS] which happens to be a farmers’ organisation. The impact of which has resulted derecognising of 600 schools which belonged to the politicians as well as legislators on the basis of a state survey will save more than Rs10 billion being paid as grants for mid-day meals at the same time uniforms of more than a million untrue students. While it was also mentioned in a statement that Kishor Tiwari of VJAS also demanded criminal prosecution against the school managements and recovery of all grants paid in the name of students.
Another prominent fact that came to the knowledge that there are more than 10,000 schools along with 5,000 tribal residential schools that have been showcasing false students to grab more than Rs30 billion, while the state paying more than 12,000 teachers who are on a fraud payroll. That's the true reason why they welcome the Maharashtra government’s action against such schools which undoubtedly falls under clear criminal breach of trust as well as a case of fraud and therefore they impel with force from the Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan to impose action against wrong school managements.
Survey undertaken in Nanded district
The fraudulent act got exposed following an in-depth survey of schools in Nanded district in 2011 ordered by then Nanded district collector Shikar Pardesi, at present Municipal Commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad. According to the outcome of the survey, 135,000 of the 700,000 students in 3,475 schools in the district were fraudulent. While following this fraudulent act Chavan was known to have ordered a state-wide survey which has exposed all notorious acts furthering with intense rage and fury at the political levels due to the fact that two million of 21.6 million students were found fraudulent at the same time 1,200 schools were recognized in this scam which were most disgracefully run by MPs and legislators of all political parties.
The above incident would remain as a prominent fact for the humankind while we also remember that there are many in lakhs and crores in our nation struggling for a day's meal on the contrary money gets into wrong hands and quiet obviously gets wasted.
No nation can prosper with these politically dominant criminals spreading nonsensical elements in society and now in the name of education.
