V Naryanaswamy, Minister of State in the PMO, emphasized for a national agency like NCTC(National Counter Terrorism Center) to check internal and external terrorist threats to India.

He expressed his distress on the recent abduction incidents of Odisha MLA Jhina Hikaka and Sukma Collector Alex Paul Menon.
