The senior Congress leader and former minister Jeevan Reddy has today found fault Kiran Kumar Reddy’s by-poll strategy. He has suspected the role of Kiran Kiran Reddy behind the statements by a few Congress leaders, who are trying to confuse the public in the state. He said that a few party leaders are misleading the public by stating that the state would be bifurcated if people cast votes to YSR Congress chief and Kadapa MP, Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. He has said that these statements were derogatory to the Congress leaders from Telangana region.
To make a point, Jeevan Reddy has also stated that by-elections in Telangana would have not come had Kiran Kumar elucidated the real facts pertaining to state affairs to the party high command.
Kiran Kumar Reddy is reportedly facing ire from the party internal members. Recently the senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao met Sonia Gandhi to apparently complain against Kiran Kumar. Besides, several leaders are reportedly unhappy with the present chief minister. Whether it’s statehood issue or YSR issue, the party members are said to be disappointed with Kiran’s by-poll strategy.
In fact, AICC sources said that the Congress high command is likely to change the key leadership in the state after the by-polls. (Phani)
