T issue sensitive, reiterates Bothsa

PCC chief Bothsa Satyanarayana has said that the issue of Telangana statehood is sensitive one.  He has added that the Union Government would give a permanent solution to this problem only after understanding the sentiments and emotions of the public in both the regions. He has reiterated that the solution would be favourable to all the regions of Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking on the alliance parties of the Congress, Bothsa has pointed out that whichever party that supports the Congress—in the upcoming by-polls to the 18 assembly constituencies in the state—will become an alliance of the Congress. He has also said that remaining political parties are their rivals.

Reacting to a reporters question, Bothsa Satyanarayana asked as to who Chandrababu Naidu and Y S Jaganmohan Reddy were. It may be noted that a reporter questioned Bothsa whether Chandrababu and Jagan were his targets in the by-polls that are round the corner.

Bothsa has exuded confidence that the Congress would make a clean sweep in all constituencies that are getting ready for bypolls. He has also said that the Congress would not care the allegations leveled by the opposition parties in local body elections. He has also made it clear that there were no differences between him and chief minister.
Bothsa’s statement on Telangana is nothing new as the Congress high command has been dilly-dallying on this issue for past two years—that is triggering confusion among people. Even the same statements were earlier made by the prime minister and also by the AICC in charge of AP affairs.
