Hariram Jogaiah, the veteran politician who had moved to most parties in state has recently joined the YSR Congress party started by the Jagan Mohan Reddy son of the former Chief Minister, late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy. Jogiah who hails from the Narsapur constituency joined the party to strengthen the party. Narsapur constituency is the fort of the `Kapus.’ Hence the leader requested that this time the voters must rise above casteism and vote Jagan for a better rule. The last time the elected representative Prasad Raju was suspended after he joined the YSR Congress.
This time again, Raju shall be contesting the elections on YSR Congress ticket. Speaking in a meeting on Wednesday Jogiah had asked the voters to choose over good attitude of Jagan over caste sentiment. Jogiah also reminded the public that the former CM YSR had worked above castes and implemented various welfare schemes. He added that this by-polls were like semi finals and public must support the young leader in his battle for good governance.
