TDP MP of the Telangana region Mr Nama Nageswara Rao said today that his party is ready to vote for Telangana state if the Government introduces the Telangana bill in Parliament.
Interacting with media persons in Delhi, he said they have given notices for a discussion on the Telangana issue and also demanded the Government to introduce the Telangana bill in the present session. “TDP is ready to vote for the bill,” he said assertively.
Finding fault with the silence of Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi on the issue, Nageswara Rao said the Centre is not sincere on finding a solution to the issue.
“The Government seems to be running away from discussing the issue and finding a solution to the imbroglio,” he accused. “We expected discussion and at least a statement from the Government on the last day of the budget session but it seems they are not concerned,” Nama charged the Government. (J)
