Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has been balancing his film and political career for some time. After a brief break of three years, Pawan returned back to films with the remake of Pink which is titled Vakeel Saab. The film is directed by Sriram Venu and it had Shruti Haasan, Prakash Raj, Anjali, Nivetha Thomas, Ananya Nagalla in the other important roles. Vakeel Saab released on April 9th and the response has been unanimous. The government of AP issued a midnight GO that made the film suffer. Vakeel Saab was restricted in Andhra Pradesh but the film posted good numbers in the opening week.
The theatrical rights are sold for Rs 90 crores and the film collected a theatrical share of Rs 79.5 crores in its first week. With no releases in this week, the film will perform well and will end up as a decent hit in its final run. While half of the buyers entered into the safe zone, the other buyers are expected to end up in profits before this weekend. Trade analysts predict that Vakeel Saab will collect over Rs 100 crores in its final run. Dil Raju produced Vakeel Saab on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner and Boney Kapoor is the presenter.
