Speaker Nadendla Manohar today rejected all adjournment motions for which notices were given by the TRS, CPI, BJP, TDP members and independent member Nagam Janardhan Reddy in the assembly today.

While TRS, BJP and CPI members gave the notices seeking discussion on suicides in Telangana area and introduction of Telangana resolution, TDP members sought discussion on suicides and a statement on Centre’s stand on Telangana issue.

Nagam Janardhan reddy also pitched in with his notice seeking a discussion on suicides.

Earlier, TRS members raised Telangana slogans disrupting the business of the house and demanding introduction of the Telangana resolution. Amid the din, Speaker Nadendla Manohar adjourned the house for 15 minutes. (J)
