The demand for Rayala Telangana has emerged after a long gap today in the state. It is much known that the demand for erstwhile Telangana state carved from the unified Andhra Pradesh was much prevalent. But this demand for Rayala Telangana died out after being pronounced for some time by the MLAs of that region. But today the demand emerged from the five times Congress MLA Katasani Rambhupal Reddy. Mr Reddy belonging to the Panyam Constituency in the Kurnool District sent a letter to the high command in this regards.
If one takes deeper look at the geographical demarcations the districts of Rayalaseema, Kurnool and Anantapur are nearer to Hyderabad, while Kadapa is close to the Coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh. But the imminent reasons ascertained by critics are that the TRS is poised to win the six by-polls and that only shows the separate forces getting stronger. In that case if Telangana is formed then Hyderabad’s sway is also in doubt. In such a situation the access to Hyderabad would be difficult. Also unlike Tamil Nadu the only city that is well equipped is Hyderabad. This is courtesy to our great leaders visionless attitude. (With inputs from internet- AarKay)
