25 persons were injured, some of them seriously, when a private tourist bus and a lorry were involved in a head-on collision on the national highway at Sadasiva Nagar in Nizamabad district this morning.

The accident took place when the bus, which was on its way to Hyderabad from Nasik in Maharashtra, was negotiating a curve, according to police.

The injured were rushed to hospitals in Kamareddy, police said.
