TDP senior leader and Tungaturti MLA Mr Motkupalli Narasimhulu today led a Padayatra from his residence at Ameerpet in Hyderabad to the assembly premises to highlight what he described as the cheating nature of the TRS leadership towards the Telangana people.

Narasimhulu will conduct the Yatra for eleven days daily from his residence to the Assembly. “My Padayatra has nothing to do with the by-polls in the state,” he said launching his yatra.

Hundreds of TDP activists and a few senior leaders accompanied the Narasimhulu Yatra on the first day today and raised slogans against the TRS president KCR. “TRS miserably failed to come to the rescue of the Telangana martyrs. We will take up the issue and try to aid the families of T martyrs,” he said before leading the Yatra.

TRS is not sincere in its fight for achieving the separate state for Telangana region, he said, and asked the people to realize the true nature of KCR.

Motkupalli will address a public meeting at Indira Park on the last day of the Yatra on March 16. (J)
