Megastar Chiranjeevi is back with God Father and the film opened on a positive note across the globe and took the advantage of the Dasara holiday season. God Father also dominated the other releases The Ghost and Swathi Muthyam. God Father collected a theatrical share of Rs 17 crores across the globe on its first day which is good considering the release. The film opened to a positive response from the USA premieres and the collections have been super strong across the Telugu states. God Father performed well in Karnataka and the rest of the country. The Hindi version has been low even after Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan played a crucial role.
God Father is the remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer. Tamil director Mohan Raja who directed several super hit films directed this movie. Salman Khan, Satyadev, Nayanthara and Samuthirakani played other important roles. Thaman composed the music and Nirav Shah handled the cinematography work. God Father is produced by Super Good Films and Konidela Production Company banners. The film is expected to do good business all over during the Dasara season.
