Samantha is the highest-paid Tollywood actress and she upped her game after she got divorced with Naga Chaitanya. Samantha turned a signing spree after the super success of The Family Man: Season 2. The actress is romancing Vijay Deverakonda in Kushi and the film is directed by Shiva Nirvana. The shoot of the film is kept on hold from a month after Samantha took a break. There are strong speculations that Samantha is suffering from health-related issues and has a skin infection. The new schedule of Kushi is planned to start today but it was kept on hold after Samantha failed to join the sets.

Vijay Deverakonda and his team are left in waiting mode for now. The actress has to recover and resume the shoot of Kushi soon. The makers announced that Kushi will have its theatrical release on December 23rd this year. The latest update says that the film's release may be pushed to summer next year as there is a delay in the shoot. Close to 40 days of shoot is pending for now.
