Nandamuri Balakrishna is on cloud nine after his last movie Akhanda ended up as a blockbuster. The actor is shooting for his next film Jai Balayya and the film is a mass entertainer. Gopichand Malineni is the director and Shruti Haasan is the heroine. Kannada actor Duniya Vijay is essaying the role of the lead antagonist in this mass entertainer. The recently released teaser is a massive hit and kept good expectations on the film. Balakrishna's look and presentation are widely appreciated by the audience. The makers initially wanted to release the film during Dasara this year.

The team decided to go ahead with December 2nd after Balakrishna wanted the film to be released on Akhanda date. An official announcement about the same will be made very soon. Thaman is the music director and Jai Balayya is the costliest film made in Balayya's career. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers and the non-theatrical rights of the film. Balakrishna is expected to complete the shoot of Jai Balayya before Dasara and he will move on to his next film that will be directed by Anil Ravipudi.
