King Nagarjuna failed to deliver hits in the recent years. The actor's recent offering Bangarraju gave him a relief and the film ended up as a decent hit in the final run after it released for Sankranthi. The actor is busy with his next film 'The Ghost', an action entertainer that is directed by Praveen Sattaru. The film is expected to hit the screens in August or September this year. There are a lot of speculations about the 100th film of Nagarjuna for some time and the recent updates say that the actor signed his next.

The film is said to be a multi-starrer and the shoot commences during the second half of the year. Mohan Raja who is currently directing Chiranjeevi's God Father will direct the project. Nagarjuna and Akhil Akkineni will play the lead roles in this multi-starrer. The makers of the film will make an official announcement soon. Nagarjuna himself will bankroll this prestigious project on Annapurna Studios banner and the film will head for a theatrical release next year. Akhil is shooting for Surendar Reddy's Agent and the film releases this year.
