Megastar Chiranjeevi completed the shoot of Acharya and the film releases in February 2022. He is currently shooting for God Father, the remake of Lucifer and the shoot is happening in Hyderabad. He signed the remake of Vedhalam and the film is titled Bhola Shankar. Meher Ramesh is making his comeback with Bhola Shankar and the film got its grand launch this morning at 7:45 AM in a Hyderabad's studio. Several Tollywood celebrities attended the grand event including the movie unit. The shooting formalities will commence from November 15th in a special set that is constructed recently.

K Raghavendra Rao, VV Vinayak, KS Rama Rao, Koratala Siva, Bobby, Gopichand Malineni, Manisharma, Harish Shankar, AM Rathnam, Vamshi Paidipally, N Shankar, Naveen Yerneni, Vishnu Induri, Abhishek Agarwal and others attended the pooja ceremony of the film. Tamannaah is romancing Chiranjeevi in Bhola Shankar and Keerthy Suresh is roped in for a crucial role and she plays Chiranjeevi's sister. The film is produced by AK Entertainments and veteran producer KS Rama Rao will present Bhola Shankar. Mahati Swara Sagar is composing the music and background score. Bhola Shankar will head for a wide release in 2023.
