Baahubali star Rana Daggubati has rubbished reports claiming that he is in the United States for a kidney transplant.
“I am currently in the U.S. for a few weeks to research about (my next project) and meet a few visual effects companies for special effects for one of my upcoming project,” Rana said, adding, “I am scheduled to visit Technicolor's Pre Production facility and working with digital domain on Hiranyakashyapu.”
The actor was responding to questions from his followers on Instagram.
Speculations were doing rounds that Rana had lost weight due to a chronic kidney problem, and that he is in the States for transplant. According to several reports, his kidney condition was the reason behind his weight loss and his fans were worried about his health.
Rana's followers took to social media to inquire about his health and asked him whether the news of him getting a kidney transplant was true.
The shooting of Hiranyakashapu has been progressing for quite some time now, with the team presently stationed in the jungles in Kerala for a schedule.
This Prabhu Solomon directorial is a trilingual that is made in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu at the same time. In Hindi, it is titled Haathi Mere Saathi, while in Tamil it is Kaadan and in Telugu it is Aranya.
Rana Daggubati will be seen in all three versions of the film along with Zoya Hussein and Kalki Koechlin while Vishnu Vishal will be a part of the star cast in the Tamil and Telugu versions and Pulkit Samrat of Fukrey-fame will be seen in the Hindi version. The star is reportedly playing a mahout in the film.
