Megastar Chiranjeevi has been quite keen on his next film which has been titled Syeraa. Touted to be a periodic drama, the film is based on the life story of freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy and is directed by Surendar Reddy. The film’s first schedule has been wrapped up and the movie unit has been busy planning the second schedule which will start in February. There have been wide speculations that Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan who signed the prestigious project has been out now.

Calling them rumours, a source from the production house confirmed that Amitabh Bachchan is in the project and he will join the film’s sets from February. Amitabh plays a guru to Megastar in the film and Nayanathara is the female lead. Jagapathi Babu, Kicha Sudeep and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen essaying other crucial roles in Syeraa. AR Rahman walked out of the project and Rathnavelu is working as the film’s cinematographer. Konidela Production Company is bankrolling this prestigious project which will release during 2019.
