Maverick director SS Rajamouli is one of the top directors of Indian cinema. He proved his directorial skills in the past with all his films. Most of his films have been dubbed or been remade into all the other languages. After a decent gap, he is back with his latest movie Baahubali: The Beginning which released last year in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi languages. The movie has been made on a budget of Rs 180 crores and the movie minted Rs 650 crores across the world.
With wide recognition from the audience and from the critics, Baahubali: The Beginning even impressed the jury of the National Awards team and it grabbed the National Award for the Best Film. The whole unit has been left delighted with the news which has been announced some time ago. Now the makers of the movie Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni along with the director SS Rajamouli received the National Award yesterday.
They have been left in joy and they posed for a picture after the honour. Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka and Tamannaah played the lead roles in the movie and MM Keeravani composed the music. Arka Media Works produced the movie and they are currently busy with the second installment of the movie titled Baahubali: The Conclusion.
