Mega Powerstar Ramcharan has been confused after the release of his recent movie Bruce Lee which ended as the biggest debacle in his career. Srinu Vaitla directed the movie and Rakul Preet Singh played the female lead. After a long holiday, Charan is busy with the pre-production work of his next movie which is said to be the remake of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan. Jayam Ravi, Nayanathara and Aravind Swamy played the lead roles in the movie and M Raja directed this action thriller. Surendar Reddy has been roped in to direct the movie which is in final stages of pre-production.

As per the latest update, the makers are considering Rakshak as the title of the film. The regular shoot of the movie will start from January 16th in Hyderabad and the other cast, crew of the film are currently being finalized. Ileana D’Cruz will play the female lead in Rakshak and Aravind Swamy will reprise his role as villain in the movie. The movie will be shot on a limited budget and the makers will release the movie post summer. Allu Aravind is producing Rakshak on Geetha Arts banner and top producer NV Prasad will present the movie. Ramcharan pinned huge hopes on the movie and is in plans to score a huge hit with Rakshak.
