Superstar Krishna, Mahesh Babu's dad, decided to step aside and let his son carry the family fame forward. At 70 years of age, he seems to say he will leave it to Mahesh to continue with films, just when his grandson Gowtham is also debuting.
Krishna will not be a part of the recently announced multi-starrer featuring Venkatesh and Charan. In his words, this yesteryear's stylish star says he would gladly act in more films, but his energy levels are not the same. Let us not even get into comparisons with his peer Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
The awaited multi-starrer is not yet named and is still under developmental stages before shooting starts. With news of Krishna politely stepping aside, shooting may not begin in October as reported earlier. We can only wait for more updates to clear the confusion. As far as Mahesh is concerned, he is busy shooting boat chasing sequences for 1 Nenokkadine in Bangkok.
Showcasing the good looking actor in an interesting avatar, Sukumar is directing this 14 Reels Entertainment film. Slated for a release in January next year, Nenokkadine will allow Krishna to be a part of films through his son.
