Story
Arjun (Sushanth) is an aspiring youngster who dreams big about his future. He plans to get married five years after but his parents force him to get married citing this would be the best time. Things change completely after Arjun meets Anjali (Ruhani Sharma). The rest of Chi La Sow is all about the change, the encounter, the emotional struggle and how Chi La Sow turns into a piece of convincing love forms the rest of the story. Watch it on big screen to know if Arjun and Anjali ends up getting married.
Analysis
Chi La Sow has been impressive right from the first frame. Though the plot has been simple, it has been penned with enough care and is crafted with entertainment, emotion and a packed love story. The music and the songs have been well shot and placed. The entertainment throughout has been rib tickling and fresh. The interval episodes stand out in the first half which makes the first half a decent watch.
The second half of Chi La Sow too continues on same pace and impresses the audience. Though the film dips down at times, it picks up soon turning out to be an impressive flick. The songs have been fresh and some of episodes have been extremely emotional. Though the climax turns predictable, the narration has been convincing. On the whole, the second half of Chi La Sow lives up the expectations and ends up as a romantic treat.
Performance
Sushanth makes a perfect comeback with Chi La Sow and his performance needs a special mention. He has been apt and Sushanth should start picking up interesting films like Chi La Sow to stand in the race. Ruhani Sharma is a new find and is one of the major highlights of the film. She performed with utmost ease and will leave you in splits. Vennela Kishore has been thoroughly entertaining. Anu Hasan, Rohini, Sanjay Swaroop and Jaya Prakash have been completely decent with their roles.
The story of Chi La Sow has been simple and predictable. The screenplay and the dialogues throughout have been convincing and the makes the film look decent. The music has been melodious and the background score elevates the movie well. The cinematography has been decent and the production values have been grand. Rahul Ravindran should be appreciated for his work on his debut.
Final Word
Chi La Sow is filled with love, emotions and entertainment thoroughly. Go watch this film this weekend in theatres.
