Analysis
Kirrak Party has an entertaining first half. The college fun and the campus issues are well narrated. Though some of the episodes have been inspired from the old youthful entertainers, it is the entertainment that drives the film. The songs have been fresh and well presented. The interval episodes are the major highlights of the first half and on the whole, Kirrak Party has a decent and engaging first half.
But things change completely with the second half as it turns quite serious. Nikhil's portrayal in a stubborn avatar will win the hearts of the audience. The entire second half looks predictable and lacks freshness. The film looks dragged and the climax episodes look decent. On the whole the second half of Kirrak Party is a disappointment.
Performance
Nikhil tops the show with his energetic and flawless performance throughout the film. His portrayal in two different shades will received wide applause from the audience. Simran Pareenja is an asset for the first half and her screen presence, performance have been top notch. All the friends of Nikhil's gang have been extremely apt and they supported the film well. Samyuktha Hegde has been energetic and was fit in the role well. All the other actors tried their best to make the film engaging.
The story of Kirrak Party has been inspired from Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party. It has been adopted well to suit the Telugu nativity and the dialogues look decent. The cinematography has been decent and the music, background score are the assets for Kirrak Party. The production values have been lavish and Sharan Koppisetty makes a decent debut with Kirrak Party.
Final Word
Kirrak Party promises to entertain thoroughly during the first half but the film falls flat because of the boring and dragged narration in the second half. Kirrak Party will impress a section of youth.
