Sensational director Puri Jagannadh is all set with his Fighter, a pan Indian project that features Vijay Devarakonda in the lead role. The film completed two major schedules and 40% of the film's shoot got completed to date. Two massive sets are erected in Mumbai for the film shoot which came to a halt after the coronavirus outbreak. With a huge number of cases in Mumbai, it is quite impossible to shoot Fighter in and around Mumbai in the coming months for the film.

Puri Jagannadh is now in plans to shoot some of the portions in Hyderabad slums. A major schedule was earlier planned in Dharavi slums but it is called off. As of now, Puri Jagannadh is left puzzled about the next schedule of Fighter. Ananya Pandey is the leading lady and Manisharma is composing the music. Puri Jagannadh and Karan Johar are jointly producing Fighter. The film will release this year. Vijay Devarakonda plays a kick-boxer in this action thriller and he will be showcasing his ripped six-pack abs in Fighter.
