Google's hunger for best Apps is only growing with each day. The multinational has acquired the file-sharing Bump App for its creative technology and popularity and feels Bump will be a great fit at Google.
Launched nearly 4 years ago, the app has caught on quite fast. Bump allows users to share files by bumping their smartphones together. Bump CEO David Lieb earlier revealed that the App was downloaded nearly 125 million times.
Bump also includes Flock, a photo sharing service. Lieb noted that all of the company's Apps will keep working. It is not clear how much Google paid for the app developing company.
In Google's opinion, the Bump team have a tendency to come up quickly with products that users love. Bump Technologies developed the popular app for the Apple iOS and Google Android operating systems.
