WhatsApp New Feature Lets Users to Choose who can add them to Groups

WhatsApp is working on a new feature which will give users more control over groups on the app.
This new feature is currently being tested on the iOS beta version of WhatsApp.
It will prevent users from being added to groups without their permission
Presently, anyone can add you to a any random WhatsApp group without your permission.
According to reports in WABetaInfo, ‘Group Invitation’ feature can be tested out by only in WhatsApp beta users on iOS.
Recently, WhatsApp started the beta programme for iOS.
Users who are interested can download the TestFlight app and can join WhatsApp’s beta programme.
Reportedly Group Invitation feature on WhatsApp comes with three options for groups i.e Everyone, My contacts, Nobody.
If a anyone who chooses ‘Nobody’ then a request will be sent by the admin to join the WhatsApp group and the request has an expiry time of 72 hours.

New feature in Whatsapp can be found in the ‘Settings’ menu under Account > Privacy > Groups.
It has also launched the WhatsApp Business beta version for iOS. The WhatsApp Business allows businesses to connect with consumers through the messaging app’s platform.
It was launched last January, WhatsApp Business was available only for Android users.
The Facebook-owned company may soon launch it for all users on iOS
