With the new iPhone 16 series, Apple has finally gotten down to business and switched to artificial intelligence. We call the latest iPhones designed for Apple intelligence. Of course, the company has developed its own version of artificial intelligence (AI for short) and it is used in its products around the world, but this is Apple, so you know that. However, a major downside is that these phones don't have Apple Smart features. New models of the iPhone 16 and Watch 10 have come onto the market. I'll start by talking about the all-new iPhone 16 Pro Max, which is the largest iPhone Apple has ever made in terms of screen and size. We'll cover the iPhone 16 Plus and Watch Series 10 models again, so stay tuned to 360 Gadgets. The iPhone 16 series is the first iPhone series built or designed for Apple Intelligence. But Apple will likely keep Glowtime's AI theme alive at its launch event in September and explore how the new feature will change the way everyone uses iPhones in the future, which is highlighted. As a note to our readers, the point of this review is that the iPhone 16 Pro Max is a huge improvement over its predecessor in every way. Of course, I will write a detailed article when the latest iOS 18 update (read, stable) is available on new devices with Apple's intelligence features. Particle for direct object

In fact, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is an evolution of the 15 Pro Max. Let me explain: If the 16 Pro Max were placed face down on a table next to the 15 Pro Max, not many people would realize that it was a new generation model, even if you look closely. In terms of design, the iPhone 16 Pro Max comes with many innovations. The biggest innovation is of course the camera control. Second, the 16 Pro Max has narrower bezels than the 15 Pro Max. Last but not least, the 16 Pro Max has the largest display ever on an iPhone. Now let's take a closer look at each one.

Just when you thought smartphone manufacturers were moving to gesture-based interaction controls, Apple went a different route and added another physical button. The iPhone 16 Pro Max has a camera control button and an action button as well as the power button and volume control, for a total of four physical buttons. When we launched the 16 Pro Max, we intentionally removed the camera app icon from the home screen to give you access to brand new camera controls. But my muscle memory took me to the home screen for the first few days until I realized that the 16 Pro Max has its own camera button.

Once you get used to the camera controls, there's no going back. It's practical, easy to find and sometimes brings back fond memories of compact digital cameras, which is a great feeling. The only problem is that vertical photos and videos are the new norm on social media like Instagram, Facebook, X and other platforms like YouTube with short videos. With a device like the iPhone 16 Pro Max, it's difficult to hold the phone in one hand and use the camera controls to frame a photo. A second hand is needed to better frame the photo. The camera controls on the smaller iPhone 16 Pro should be easy to use. The addition of camera controls is a nice touch and a call to all photography enthusiasts to take full advantage of them. If you like launching the camera from an app on your home screen but want to change the camera controls, Apple has you covered. You can launch the camera app, code scanner, Instagram, magnifier, or nothing. Apple is expected to add more third-party apps to the list in future updates.

Despite the increase in screen size from 6.7 inches on the 15 Pro Max to 6.9 inches on the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the weight increase is minimal. The weight of the 16 Pro Max is 227 grams and the weight of the 15 Pro Max is 221 grams. The best thing is the weight distribution. Uniform and beautiful design, can be operated with one hand. However, one-handed operation of the 16 Pro Max is a bit awkward for people with small hands. I've been using the 15 Pro Max for almost a year now, but it took me a while to get used to the 16 Pro Max. Interestingly, almost a decade ago, tablets were available with 7-inch screen size, reasonable weight and thick frames. The main changes that need to be adjusted in daily use are width and height. Compared to the 15 Pro Max (159.9mm high and 76.7mm wide), the 16 Pro Max is 163mm high and 77.6mm wide. As you can see, the 16 Pro Max is taller and wider than its predecessor.

As far as colors are concerned, the Pro model will again be available in titanium this year. Of the four types of titanium: natural titanium, white titanium, and black titanium, the Desert Titanium that I received for review this year was the best. Every color looks impressive. On the other hand, this year's iPhone 16 models have very nice colors. The iPhone 16 Pro Max features Apple's largest screen and is housed in the thinnest frame of any Apple product. Something caught my eye right away when I started using the 16 Pro Max for this test. Thinner bezels mean more screen for a more immersive experience. For more information, see the Display section. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is made of grade 5 titanium, which fits securely in the hand and ensures safety in everyday use. Apple has used the latest generation ceramic shield on the front and the textured frosted glass on the back is reminiscent of the 15 Pro Max. As for the display, Apple has equipped the 16 Pro Max with the largest 6.9-inch display. For comparison, the 16 Pro Max has a larger screen than the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (6.8 inches), which was released earlier this year.

The Super Retina Max is confirmed. The only change this year is that the minimum brightness can be lowered to 1 nit, which wasn't the case before. This means you can continue scrolling and browsing your phone even in bed without disturbing anyone else in the room. The iPhone 16 Pro Max's display looks great with rounded corners that follow the curved design. When it comes to display quality, the 16 Pro Max has one of the best displays of any 2024 iPhone model. In everyday use, the 16 Pro Max's display is perfect for all your needs including multimedia, gaming and social media browsing. A larger screen size and thinner bezels provide a more immersive viewing experience. That's it. Sunlight visibility is excellent and the maximum brightness of 2000 nits is enough to use the phone in strong sunlight.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max features an all-new A18 Pro chip, replacing the A17 Pro chip in the 15 Pro model. During our testing, we tried everything from AAA gaming to streaming, video editing, photo editing and AI applications to see how powerful the new chip is. Unsurprisingly, there is no slight stutter anywhere on the 16 Pro Max. I had a similar issue with the 15 Pro Max (14 Pro Max and older Pro models). However, a major area of improvement is thermal optimization. Compared to the 15 Pro Max, the 16 Pro Max cools down quickly thanks to Apple's improved heat dissipation settings. Playing titles like Call of Duty: Mobile, Asphalt 9: Legends, Alto's Odyssey and Fieldrunners 2 was absolutely smooth. I also tried the famous Ubisoft title Assassin's Creed Mirage and the gaming experience was great. In terms of performance, the iPhone 16 Pro Max's A18 Pro not only looks good, but also makes the phone a great device for graphics-intensive gaming and video editing on the go. When it comes to connectivity, the iPhone 16 Pro Max can quickly connect to a network, even underground where cellular networks are scattered. Like the 15 series, the 16 Pro Max also has a USB-C charger and supports the USB 3.2 standard.

The speakers are also surprisingly loud (but in a good way). If you are in a medium sized room, you can try the powerful 16 Pro Max speaker setup. You won't be disappointed. iOS 18 will continue to be Apple's popular update until Apple Intelligence is available on all new devices. One of the reasons the Series 16 has been in the news is that while it carries the “Made for Apple Smart” tagline, it doesn’t come out of the box. As I mentioned at the start of this review, I'll be writing another article detailing all the new AI features once the 16 Pro Max launches. The latest iOS 18 update brings a number of upgrades, some of which are much-needed and others of which we're still getting used to. The Photos app has always been one of my favorite apps for taking photos on various devices, but since the iOS 18 update, the new updates are confusing. What I like about iOS 18 are the new customization options. Apple is constantly expanding the list, and that's a good thing. With more customization options, you can play with more new home screen designs.

The AI tools I briefly tried out in the beta included a writing tool to improve writing and a note-taking app with summaries of recorded sessions. Thanks to its Image Playground app, Apple offers something called Genmoji to help you maximize your creativity. Next, a common camera-related AI feature on Android is called “Erase,” but Apple changed it to “Clean Up.” This allows you to remove distractions and objects from the image. Siri, of course, has received a major facelift and a near-facelift. I'll try them out in the final version before passing judgment on who did it better. The 16 Pro Max finally gets an improved ultra-wide camera as well as a larger display and battery. Apple has switched from a 12-megapixel sensor to a 48-megapixel sensor. However, the telephoto shot is now only 12 million pixels. Next year, the Pro model could have a 48-megapixel triple camera. Fingers crossed.

If you follow Apple, you already know that we have continually improved our camera game to meet the needs of professional users, including content creators, artists, photographers and directors. The 16 Pro Max is a new chapter in this journey and brings with it some exciting additions. The camera controls are an additional feature that makes the camera more user-friendly, at least for me. It's intuitive and allows you to easily switch from zoom to mode and more. However, it takes some time to learn. So be prepared. Daytime shots look just as good on the 16 Pro Max as they do on the 15 Pro Max. Each photo has lots of detail, amazing dynamic range, excellent color saturation and, most importantly, beautiful, natural colors. The example below shows how good the 16 Pro Max's camera is. The 48 MP main sensor is stable even when shooting in daylight.

This year you can enjoy images with a brand new photography style that allows you to adjust tone, color and more in real time. A new photo-style d-pad lets you overlay images for added convenience. Another small update is that you can change the style after clicking on the image, which wasn't possible before. Video enthusiasts are getting a big update this year with support for 4K at 120 frames per second. This is what Apple describes as the highest resolution and frame rate for slow motion. The best part is that Apple isn't forcing you to make real-time frame rate decisions this year. You can adjust the playback speed after taking a photo in the Photos app. These additional features make editing on the go a fantastic experience.

Bokeh quality is excellent, with natural skin tones and no color bleeding. What your iPhone guarantees. Macro photography is great too. However, it takes some work to ensure a successful shot. Otherwise, you may end up with several close-up shots of your subject that are out of focus. The telephoto camera also received a proper update, which gave us fantastic zoom results. At 10x and 15x magnification, the 16 Pro Max achieves amazing results with lots of detail. For the first time, I noticed that the iPhone 16 Pro Max performs better than the S24 Ultra in some zoom shots. The ultra-wide camera also performs well and performs well in daylight. When it comes to the level of detail in the images captured, there is a noticeable improvement over the Pro Max 15.

If you switch to low-light photography, you won't see much improvement in this area. Especially considering that the current 15 Pro Max was disappointing in difficult lighting conditions. Below is a nighttime example where the 16 Pro Max shows off its low-light capabilities. The selfie camera is the same as the 15 Pro Max and there is no difference here. Selfies with natural skin tones and colors look great even in different lighting conditions. However, there is still room for improvement in low-light photography. Overall, the iPhone 16 Pro Max has three great cameras that cannot be ignored compared to other phones on the market. You may already know that Apple is the only company that doesn't publish spec sheets. The only information Apple has shared about the iPhone 16 Pro Max's new battery is that it offers up to 33 hours of video playback, compared to 29 hours of video playback on the 15 Pro Max (and 14 Pro Max). It means it is being done. Video watch time. In our HD video loop test, the 16 Pro Max impressed with a respectable playback time of 28 hours and 33 minutes.

When it comes to pure battery performance, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is a great device that can achieve over 8 hours of screen time. With heavy use, including several hours of gaming and streaming, and 30-40 minutes of camera use for photos and videos, the phone easily lasted more than a day, even though the battery still had about 25% left. In the numerous tests we conducted with our review unit, the 16 Pro Max easily achieved over 8 hours of active screen-on time, giving us a runtime of up to 8 hours and 30 minutes with a battery life of 13%. Of course, you can save even more battery by turning off the always-on display and reducing camera usage. On average days of use, the iPhone 16 Pro Max's battery life is almost two full days. Apple limits battery performance and the competition will be tough for the competition.

However, wired charging speed remains the Achilles' heel of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. In an era where phones can be fully charged in under 30 minutes, the 16 Pro Max achieved a 55% charge in 35 minutes. A full charge with a 20W adapter takes about 100 minutes, but can take up to 120 minutes depending on several factors. Who should buy the iPhone 16 Pro Max? This is intended for iPhone users who are not yet using the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Of course, if your budget allows it, get one. For those who still prefer less than Rs. For a $100,000 phone, you're going to struggle with some things, but there's the base iPhone 16, which has almost everything good this year, but with a 120Hz refresh rate screen and a third telephoto lens, it's not up to par Camera is equipped, this is the best part, namely the sales season. If switching to an iPhone is a priority for you, you can get great deals as there are discounts on all models in online and offline stores.

Compared to the 14 Pro and 13 Pro series, the iPhone 16 Pro Max has some of the biggest upgrades, while the 15 Pro Max seems understated. It features the largest iPhone display yet. In my testing, the 16 Pro Max delivered unparalleled battery performance. Of course, this is a Pro device, so heavy users can also use it. The screen is incredible, the only downside is the slow cable charging. The upgrade seems to take forever. One of the big problems is that the 16 Pro Max doesn't have the Apple Intelligence (reading, stability) feature. So it certainly doesn't seem like a big deal at this point. However, keep in mind that these phones are designed from the ground up to work with Apple Intelligence, so a full iOS update could be available in the next few weeks.

The two biggest alternatives to the iPhone 16 Pro Max are the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which will be available at a discounted price during the festive sale in India. And the second is the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, the closest flagship to the 16 Pro Max.
