The OnePlus Watch 3 made its global debut on Tuesday. This new model enhances the functionalities first seen in the OnePlus Watch 2, which was released in February 2024. Crafted by the Chinese manufacturer, the latest flagship smartwatch features a 1.5-inch LTPO display that includes always-on functionality. Additionally, it boasts new titanium alloy bezels that offer improved protection. Users of the OnePlus Watch 3 can perform a quick health assessment in just 60 seconds. According to the manufacturer, the smartwatch has a battery life of up to 5 days on a single charge. In the United States, the OnePlus Watch 3 is available for $329 (approximately Rs. 29,000). The company provides a promotional discount of $30 (about Rs. 2,600), and customers can enjoy an additional $50 (around Rs. 4,300) off if they trade in their previous smartwatch. Currently, pre-orders are open, and shipping will start on February 25. The smartwatch comes in two color options: Emerald Titanium and Obsidian Titanium.

The OnePlus Watch 3 is equipped with a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display (460x460 pixels) capable of reaching a peak brightness of 2,200 nits. It features a sapphire crystal glass surface and titanium alloy bezels for superior durability. The device has received MIL-STD-810H certification and holds an IP68 rating for resistance to dust and water. It can withstand immersion in water up to a depth of 5 ATM. The smart device is powered by the Snapdragon W5 processor, which incorporates a hybrid architecture along with a BES2800BP MCU. It offers 32GB of internal storage and operates on Google’s Wear OS 5, along with a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) that enables an always-on display and enhances background activities for improved efficiency.

For monitoring health and fitness, the OnePlus Watch 3 includes a wrist temperature sensor, an optical heart rate sensor, and an optical pulse oximeter. It tracks various metrics such as mental well-being, physical health, blood oxygen levels, sleep patterns, wrist temperature, and vascular health. Users can gain health insights and access services like Google Health Connect, Strava, and other health features through the OHealth app. The smartwatch supports over 100 sports modes, including 10 specialized professional sports modes. Regarding connectivity, it is equipped with dual-band L1+L5, Beidou, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and QZSS. Additional features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and Bluetooth calling.
