India concluded the tournament creating history in their medal tally in South Asian Games. India was able to win 312 medals, which includes 172 gold, 93 silver and 45 bronze medals.

India breaks its own record in the medal tally as it had claimed 309 medals in 2016 edition of South Asian Games and by winning 312 this time.
Nepal bagged in the second position with a total of 206 medals followed by Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the third and fourth positions respectively.
