It was nothing less than a treat to watch India's swashbuckler Virat Kohli bat a superlative innings against Australia in the 2nd ODI last evening. The spectators in the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur broke into jubilation as Kohli knocked off a ton in mere 52 balls, leaving the world drop their jaws in utter admiration. He hit 8 mind-blowing boundaries and 6 scintillating sixes.
The right-hander batsman smashed all previous records as he became the fastest Indian to hit a ton.
Also, this was the seventh fastest century in ODI cricket.
Kohli surpassed Virender Sehwag’s 60-ball century which he scored against New Zealand at Hamilton in 2009.
