Controversy's favorite child Madonna has stirred up fresh scandal.

The 54-year-old American music icon has invited flak for hurting Islamic sentiments. The doyen  allegedly angered religious fanatics by dressing up in a Muslim niqab-style chainmail mask.

She uploaded a picture with a comment that read: "Revolution of Love is on... Inshallah."

It's been reported that the singer was warned by her friend that posting one such comment could rouse up controversy about Muslim practices that might stake her life.
