The Apple October 23 media event starts at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT in San Jose in the California Theatre. Based on the Apple rumor mill the company will unveil several new products. The list of new Apple releases includes iPad mini, iPad 3 with Lightning, 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display, updated iMacs and updated Mac minis. Apple is expected to make a play for the iPad mini in the educational market. An video surfaced (via 9to5Mac) from iPhone5Parts that is supposed to show the iPad mini. I assume though it is yet another prototype that circulates in Asia for case makers. Either way, this is a nice distraction to get through the last minutes before the Apple Event starts.
