Prince Romance Movie Review and Rating
Under the direction of 'Darling' Swamy, Romance is a rom-com for today's students. The film had enough attention due to the presence of Prince, who takes the nickname of Mahesh Babu. However, this is a relatively small budget film, looking to cash in on the craze for hatke romantic comedies. Manasa and Dimple are the female leads for Romance, which has music composed by Sai Karthik.

Story
Prince plays Krishna, a hormonal college student looking for a virgin. He wants to share all his romantic experiences with a girl who has never experienced them herself. While on his mission, he has harmless fun with other college mates, much like the usual college going crowd. Krishna first meets Lalitha, played by Manasa and later Anuradha, played by Dimple.
A no-nonsense Lalitha is dumped by Krishna for Anuradha. Being an aggressive girl, Lalitha decides to teach him a lesson and ensures he faces plenty of trouble throughout the film.
Analysis :
After films like Ee Rojullo, Bus Stop and Prema Katha Chitram, here is another film from the same makers. Expectations were high for Romance due to the surprise successes of the earlier films. This romantic film, playing with an A certificate, comes with a lot of comedy and some entertainment. However, many things do not work for Romance, getting lost in below par presentation.
This film has funny moments with girls and boys at each others throats. It is a slice of reality, interspersed with large doses of naughtiness, copying from earlier such hits. Twists and turns to this modern love story help the film's flow a little.
Performance :
All characters entertain with their performances. Like earlier films that showed girls, boys and their inter dependance on each other for selfish purposes, here too the film's cast does their part to portray today's college students. The comedy scenes are quite humorous but some of the scenes are simply superficial.
Final Word: Romance does not meet expectations. It has entertaining scenes, but only those with a taste for double meaning dialogues can enjoy the film.
