Gaya is an ancient city of mythological and historical significance. Located in Bihar, the city is 100 kilometers south of Patna. It is one of the important religious centers for the Hindus. Number of tourists and pilgrims visit Gaya every year. The city is well linked to major cities of India. By Train

By Air
Located 10 km away from city centre, Bodhgaya Airport or Gaya Airport connects the city of Gaya with the remaining cities of the country and also international destinations. Major carriers operating flights to Bodhgaya Airport are Air India, Golden Myanmar Airlines, Druk Air, and Myanmar Airways International. The flights connect Gaya with Paro, Delhi, Kathmandu, and Yangon. From the airport, reach Gaya city centre by hiring cabs or taxis.

By Road
Reaching Gaya by road is the most cost-effective and the best way. Well-maintained G.T road links Gaya with many cities of North India. Buses operated by state and private organizations run and regular intervals from cities like Ranchi, Patna, Jamshedpur, Raurkela, Kolkata and Hazaribagh. NH 83 and SH 69 route links Patna and Gaya.
