Following the immense triumph of 'Kantara', Rishab Shetty and his team are gearing up for the highly anticipated 'Kantara 2'. This upcoming film will serve as a prequel to the original, which achieved great success. Production for 'Kantara 2' is set to commence in the near future. Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara 2', a prequel to the 2022 blockbuster 'Kantara', will commence filming with a traditional ceremony on November 27. An extravagant and extensive set is currently under construction for this project.
Actor-director Rishab Shetty, producer Vijay Kiragandur, and the rest of the cast and crew will be in attendance. Following the ceremonial proceedings, principal photography for the film will begin in December. The remaining members of the cast will be announced at a later date. Rishab is currently preparing for the film, which is planned to be executed on a grander scale than its predecessor." The shooting schedule for the second part of the film, 'Kantara 2', is spread out over extensive timelines. Divided into three phases, the filming is anticipated to conclude by August 2024. The majority of the scenes for 'Kantara 2' will be captured within the country's borders. Hombale Films, the production company behind the project, is now prepared to captivate audiences with their thrilling offering, 'Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire'. This film marks the collaboration between filmmaker Prashanth Neel and actor Prabhas. It is set to clash with Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' and will be released on December 22, 2023.
