Sandeep Vanga and Vijay Devarakonda’s recent outing Arjun Reddy ended up as a blockbuster and the classic is now being remade in all the major Indian languages. Chiyaan Vikram acquired the Tamil remake rights of the film and the film marks the debut of his son Dhruv Vikram to Kollywood. He is being specially trained for his debut and Vikram’s close friend and critically acclaimed director Bala has been roped in to direct the film.
The pre-production work is on cards and Vikram revealed the film’s name which has been titled Varma. Dhruv’s sketched look too has been unveiled today and the regular shoot of the film will start early next year. E4 Entertainments will bankroll this prestigious project and the female lead is currently finalized. More details soon.
