There is no match to the kind of humungous fan following that megastar Rajinikanth has.
The actor, who recently celebrated his 63rd birthday on 12 December, is considered to be nothing less than God among his fans.
So when his over zealous fans went ahead and released a poster of the superstar standing in a voting queue with Hindu Gods Ganesha and Vishnu lining up after him, it seemed a fair enough tribute for their 'Thalaiva'.
Wonder if the poster that reads "Even gods would cast their vote, if you come to politics," flattered the star, but it certainly drew the ire of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, a religious outfit who have lodged an FIR against this controversial poster.
The religious outfit, deeming this as an act of offense, have called for serious action against it.
