A multi-storey apartment block known to have broken-down in the Mahim area in central Mumbai while arousing threatening danger of having people trapped inside. The incident occurred on Monday evening which was on the preceding day of heavy monsoon rains experienced in Mumbai as informed by a fire official.

The officer also added that they are undergoing with rescue operations while they are not convinced with the fact that how many people are trapped inside.  No further information were revealed.
