An IT firm based out of United States of America, Anthelio is all set to enter the Indian health care industry. The company feels that the digitalization of records of patients is an absolute must and also stresses that every hospital in the United States focuses on this aspect the post.

Anthelio, which is currently, holding talks with various hospitals over the same subject is most likely to enter the market sometime in the next year. The company has also said stressed on the emphasis of IT     in health care industry. Many hospitals in India wants to use the technology for better medical facilities which is good but then the company has also said as to how important is clinical data and research.

The officials of the company have said that they there are discussions on who should own the data of the person, whether the individual or the hospital or the government agency. They said Anthelio will plunge into the business once the confusion on this concludes.

Anthelio officials have also said that the company was also ready to work close with the government since the government has already announced that it would be enabling digitalization of the records of all the patients.

If this process really comes into existence, then a patient need not worry about saving the hard copies of the health reports, preserving them and then carrying them to hospitals. All the patient information will be recorded on computers. (Phani)
