The Madurai Police in Tamil Nadu found a suitcase of containing a burnt and decomposed body of a foreign woman. The case was impending due to investigations by the forensic experts was going on. But on 15th the Virudhunagar police received a complaint from a Mexican National that another Mexican National was unable to be reached out, after he had helped her to board a bus on April 09. The bus was bound to Kerala. The Mexican at Virudhunagar was Manric (40) and the missing woman who was a student in Kerala to learn Mohaniattam was Cecile Denise Acosta. The police questioned Manric.
Meanwhile on Police interrogating, Manric confessed that he "hit" his girlfriend with "no intention to kill" following "a fight over custody of the child". The police say he burnt the body in a bid to wipe out evidence.
Police said Cecile Denise Acosta was a student of Kalamandapam Deemed University for Art and Culture at Thrissur in Kerala learning Kerala's traditional dance. She came to Krishnankovil in Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu on April 4 to see her boyfriend Manric, who is also a Mexican national. Manric came to India on June 25, 2011, was studying Post Doctorate Fellowship in Mathematics in Kalasalingam University at Krishnankovil, Tamil Nadu. `Cecile Denise Acosta left her daughter Adila (5) with him’ was his earlier version.
