Mr Robert Vadra, 43, son-in-law of congress party president Sonia Gandhi, fainted and collapsed on the stage of a public function in Delhi on Sunday.
The incident took place when he was distributing prizes to the winners in the DLF Golf Course tournament at the golf course in Gurgaon. He was immediately rushed to the nearby Medanta Medicity hospital.
Mr Vadra, husband of Priyanka Gandhi, was said to be suffering from an abdominal problems, according to sources.
As soon as he collapsed, security guards shifted him into Golf Course vehicle and rushed him to the hospital. (J)
