The Indian community in Gulf on Sunday came together to pay tribute to the victims of Pulwama terror attack at the auditorium in Indian Embassy in Muscat.
The ‘Shraddanjali Sabha’ was attended by a huge number of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). “Within short notice, we made our presence at the embassy to pay homage for our brave soldiers”, said B Ganesh of Nirmal district, who is president of Telangana Association in Oman.
In the meantime, the followers of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party in the Gulf region has postponed birthday celebrations of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in respect to killed jawans.
“We have canceled birthday celebrations of our beloved leader in Kuwait and paid homage to brave security personnel who laid their life for the country”, said Godishala Abhilasha of TRS in Kuwait.
She added that TRS enthusiasts in Kuwait donated blood in a public infirmary on occasion of Chandrashekhar Rao’s birthday.
The deadly terror attack on February 14 claimed the life of 40 Indian Central Reserve Police Force jawans.
