With technology becoming advanced, lives of people are turning sophisticated. But then when the question --whether technology is a boon or bane arises, we still don’t have a definite answer.  There are many people who use latest technology to resort to unwanted things just like a student in Warangal.  A student was using a wrist watch as his malpractice device and the invigilator was shocked to note the same. 

If we look into the details, a B.Com student hailing from Bharti Degree College in Warangal town allegedly used a latest digital watch with 8GB SD card to see himself passed in the examination—all in hi tech procedure. None would have ever got a doubt as this process of using a digital watch for mal practicing was never expected.

The student, who allegedly involved in malpractice, tried to scan for the answers—on his watch—to the questions in the exam paper.   He was found browsing his watch, which raised doubts in the mind of invigilator. On approaching him, the invigilator came across the astonishing fact that even watches can be used for malpracticing.

The student was debarred immediately and his watch was confiscated.  The watch and answer sheet were sent to Kakatiya University. This student appeared for second year B.Com—e Commerce paper. (Phani)
