Probably most parties must be in tense situation as the by-polls in the seven Andhra Pradesh constituencies are taken up for counting. Lot of people need to prove their stances by winning the polls. Six constituencies are from Telangana and one from Nellore district. The by-polls in the six were necessitated as the sitting MLAs resigned. Of the resigned six, five from Telangana, resigned in protest against the separate T State. And the Kovvur MLA had resigned in support of YSR Congress Party. The Mahbubnagar Seat went for polls due to the sudden demise of the sitting MLA. The other constituencies are

Each party needs to prove as per their individual party synopsis. Congress needed to prove that everything was going in the right direction under Kiran Sarkar. TDP which lost its charm now needs to prove that the people desire a change and the change is TDP. YSR Congress has to show that it is dominating the scenario for the Congress high command to open its eyes. TRS needs to prove that the Telangana agitation is backed by people and not only a political motive.

The movements at 10 am: as the counting for the first round ends.
1.    Kovvur: YSR Cong candidate Prasanna Kumar Reddy leads by 6454 votes.
2.    Stationghanpur: TRS in the lead.
3.    Nagarkurnool:  Independent Candidate Nagam Janardhan Reddy in the lead, by 2649 votes.
4.    Mahbubnagar: Congress in the lead. Muthyala Prasad leads by 1578 votes.
5.    Kollapur: TRS leads.
6.    Adilabad: TRS leads
7.    Kamareddy: TRS leads. Gampa Govardhan Reddy leads by 23,707 votes.
