Security agencies have unveiled drawings of three individuals identified as terrorists involved in the tragic incident that occurred yesterday in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the deaths of 26 tourists. According to the agencies, all suspects are associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, with at least two of them suspected to be foreign nationals. As the country grapples with the aftermath of this tragedy, security forces are intensifying their efforts to locate the attackers and uncover the sinister motives behind the assault. The Resistance Front, which operates as a proxy for the banned terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba based in Pakistan, has taken responsibility for the attack.
In response to the situation, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has urgently traveled to Kashmir to assess the circumstances alongside Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was in Saudi Arabia at the time, shortened his visit and returned to India. He previously condemned the attack, assuring that all necessary support would be given to those impacted. "Those responsible for this barbaric act will face justice...they will not be let off! Their malicious plans will fail. Our determination to combat terrorism remains steadfast and will grow even stronger," he stated.
